I visited the Joint Research Center of the European Commission

I was invited to visit the Joint Research Center of the European Commission in Ispra, as part of the French presidency.

With 9 other PhD students from all over France and across many fields (all candidates of the French 3-minute thesis competition), we discovered what it meant to do research at the interface of innovation and policy making.

And could it get any better than this, enjoying Italian food and views of Lago Maggiore while we’re at it 0:)
